GREED

When I picture greed, I see a little green monster/goblin, sort of like the Cookie Monster in Seseme Street but evil and it eats money instead of cookies. It would be one of those monsters that lives in the dark corner of your closet that you never want to look into. And it comes out when you least expect it, usually when it's dark out. It's deceptively small. You think that you can control it but if you're not careful it can overpower you in seconds.
Oh, and it's also rather partial to composted tripe...;)

  1. Haha, I really like this! The way you descrbe the little monster/goblin/thing perfectly describes greed and it gives a good depiction of how greed might look if it were an actual person/thing and not just an action or habit. The last part about how people think they can control it but they really can't is really striking, especially since it's proven to be so true in today's world.

Also, nice reference to tripe, haha =)

  2. This was great! The monster/goblin you were describing sounds scary, definitely wouldn't want that hiding in my room. This was a really good depiction of greed. I liked how you pointed out, that it should be controlled, and can be overpowering. In a world where there is a lack of limits, its important to keep boundaries for things like greed.

  3. I really like this because usually the little green monster is Jealousy, but it works perfectly here too! Cookie Monster was actually the perfect example to use here, because even though he's a blue monster, he is the DEFINITION of greed. He's always like, "COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE," always demanding more.
